The engineer who scoped the work writes it. Nothing is handed to a delivery pod you have never spoken to.
The studio
Who you're actually hiring.
A small engineering studio in Whetstone, five minutes from Totteridge & Whetstone station. Four people. No account manager sitting between you and the person writing the code.
We take work in two shapes. A fixed-scope build with a date on it, or an engineer embedded in your team for an agreed number of days a month. Both are quoted in writing, and the quote is the price.
We don't build anything we can't hand over. If your team cannot maintain it without us in two years, we designed it wrong. That belief costs us the occasional retainer, and we're fine with that.
We also turn work down. Rescue jobs on a half-finished codebase we didn't write, and anything that needs to ship next Friday, are not ours — we'll say so on the call and suggest somebody better placed.

How we work
Three stages, and you can stop after any of them.

Scope
A week with your team and your data. We come back with what should be built, what shouldn't, a price and a date. If the answer is "don't build this", we'll say that too.

Build
Two-week increments, each one ending in working software you can open and use. You see progress on a URL, not in a status report.
03
Hand over
Repository, documentation, deployment pipeline and a walkthrough with whoever inherits it. Support afterwards is a retainer you can leave — never a dependency.
